Rev. Jisujo Muroyama arrived on Kauai in January 1910. His missionary work began in the rented second floor room of Mr. Hongo’s home. He and his supporters laid the cornerstone of the new temple at the present site that March.
Koloa Jodo Mission is located in Koloa Town which boasts the oldest sugar company and is five minutes from the world famous resorts.
